About Countryside - Scenes from our happy office.
Locally-owned and Independent

Mixed Animal Veterinary Practice

Countryside Veterinary Services is a locally owned and independent veterinary practice specializing in Small and Large Animal Services. We are founded by a veterinarian (DVM) and managed by seven DVMs with 30+ years of experience and excellence, two small animal vets and five equine vets. Our practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to all our patients, no matter their size. Treating multiple species gives us unique perspectives and insights that differentiate our treatment and care options. For example, an equine solution can provide insight into a challenging canine problem.

Our clinic is located in Covington, Georgia and includes:

In-hospital surgery suites for both large and small animals
In-house digital x-ray for large and small animals
On-location laboratory handling a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures
Well stocked pharmacy
Closely supervised hospitalization area
Indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas
Stables for equine observation and recovery

Additionally, Our five mobile equine veterinary units bring advanced on-farm services directly to you and your horse. Convenience and comprehensive care go hand in hand when it comes to our commitment to serving our patients.

We measure our success by ensuring that after every appointment, you leave knowing your beloved family member received state-of-the-art medical care within your means and that you felt the warm, compassionate care that sets us apart.

The Independent Advantage:

Freedom to Care, Innovate, and Prioritize

As an independent veterinary practice, we have the liberty to prioritize the care, advice, and treatment options our patients deserve. Our nimble approach enables us to swiftly adopt state-of-the-art technology, elevating our diagnostic capabilities and fostering innovation in groundbreaking treatments. And unlike corporate veterinary practices driven by profits and stock market values, our unwavering focus is solely on the well-being of your cherished animals. Discover the difference that independence makes.
